Selah began his music journey back in 1983 as a round-the-way DJ. His DJ career was launched with local community house parties, which eventually led up to his debut in the movie "House Party II", a Jackson / McHenry - New Line Cinema film. He then traveled as far as Las Vegas, Nevada cuttin' the turntables in some of the city's major hot spots. From there he began to go into another avenue of the music industry, production. He has worked with various artists ranging from blues to hip hop and rap. This endeavor has led up to the here and now; where he is actively working to take spiritually influenced postitive music to a whole new level.

As Selah matures in his career of music it is his goal as well as intent to make his mark in the music arena worldwide. It is his belief that music is the number one universal language loved by all people all over the world. He is one with an underdog mentality seeking that, which has not been discovered nor developed. As a child of GOD, his actions must be representative of the one who guides his life and this is why he feels called to take spiritual music to another level in a hip hop funk kind of way.
